Why does everyone feel they can judge someone else?  I’m faced with people every day it seems, fellow christian people, that are constantly judging others without even knowing or trying to understand that person’s situation.  What has happened to compassion?   I mean, come on! Is there a different level to Christianity that I don’t know about that makes one superior to another?  We ALL have things we can be judged for! And if you think you don’t, then we could judge you for conceit - just sayin’! If we were all judged in the ways we deserved to be, none of us would stand a chance in this life!! Soooo, get over yourselves!!

“You can tell you are gettin’ old when you look back more than you look forward.”

A patient said that to me today, and it really made me sad.  She had lost her husband and is so lost and lonely.  She said lookin’ back brings her more joy at this point than looking forward.  It really makes me want to appreciate the present.
